homemade popcorn
what you need:
corn kernels (available at ralphs or vons, just get the cheapest ones, no need for Orville to come here), 1/4 cup dry
1 tablespoon corn oil
1 brown lunch bag
a microwave
salt, seasonings to taste (plus one serving/mixing bowl)

finals week
yesterday i broke free of the studying mold and went on a spontaneous trip with J to PB. i purchased far too many ties and an album which was surprisingly not bad. “Science For Girls”, the self-titled (?) album is actually quite mellow and good studying music. who knew? i should buy more music for the cover art from now on.

really bad diet day
-woke up and had bacon for breakfast (+ chrysanthemum tea)
-went with J to get an oil change in her car, and went to IN-N-OUT (first time). got hamburger + fries + arnold palmer.
-left IN-N-OUT and walked in the rain 5 minutes. turned around. went to IN-N-OUT (second time). got well-done fries and vanilla shake.

class today was strange as prof announced mole day on behalf of the TAs. then spent an hour wandering and convinced a friend to come to a phys-inorg-seminar, which was terrible. then wandered back to my apt for lunch (but not at my apt), and wandered back to lab. student recognized me on my way back to lunch - i think i know his name, but i couldn’t tell you...

just saw the post by tumblr staff about scrolling up and down with j and k. tried it on my computer and found it didn’t work.
